There are two engine options for the Chevy Silverado 2500 HD, including the standard 6.6L V8 gas engine. This engine produces 401 horsepower at 5200 rpm with 464 lb.-ft. of torque at 4000 rpm. There’s an available 6.6L Duramax Turbo-Diesel engine that delivers 470 horsepower at 2800 rpm and 975 lb.-ft. of torque at 1600 rpm.
